The careers of Broadcast Announcers and Radio Disc Jockeys is a profession that requires reading and writing skills along with a pleasant speaking voice. In most cases a bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcasting or communications are required but work experience is the most important.  Working at a school or college television or radio station is the best place to start and get work experience.
