Lead Software Engineer

Makinde Adeagbo employed at Pinterest and a Lead software Engineer.  He started his training in high school and went on to MIT for his degree.  He grew his knowledge by doing internships at Microsoft and Apple gaining knowledge as a software engineer and as a product manager. The product manager role showed him he needed to work with the customer of the product, and this helped him developed soft skills. As a Lead Engineer he needs Technical “Hard Skills” and needs to develop “Soft Skills” people communication skills.  The soft skills could include empathy to take into considerations the point of view of his team members. He enjoys his career as it allows him to learn new coding languages and diversity in potential career directions. He is an example that diversity in engineering is achievable.
